Razor-flat 90 % green from 415–545 nm—plus twin NIR peeks for alignment—BH-A16 keeps images vivid and heat-free.
BH-A16 is KUPO’s “sea-of-green” filter, built to flood sensors with a perfectly flat
90 %+ band from 415 nm to 545 nm while dumping blue, red and most IR to detector-noise
levels. Two moderate side-windows—≈42 % at 700 nm and ≈50 % at 760 nm—provide handy coaxial
beacons or NDVI reference channels without contaminating the core image.
Dense ion-beam-sputtered oxides hold spectral shift under ±3 nm for AOI swings of ±5° and sail
through heat, moisture and solvent tests. Whether you need rectangular chips for a filter
wheel, free-form blanks for an AR combiner, or a tweaked design with narrower skirts,
KUPO can prototype and ship in days—keeping your fluorescence rigs, RGB cameras, or
crop-scouting drones on schedule.
BH-A16 is KUPO Optics’ wide green passband filter engineered for fluorescence, color-separation cameras, and machine-vision illuminators that need a flat, high-gain “sea of green” while dumping blue, red, and most IR. A dense hard-oxide stack lifts transmission from near-zero to roughly >90 % across 415–545 nm, then drops back below 1 % by ~580 nm. Two deliberate “peek” windows—one around 700 nm (~42 % T) and another near 760 nm (~50 % T)—support coaxial alignment dots or secondary sensing without contaminating the main image.
Key advantages
Ultra-flat green plateau — > 90 % T held steady over a 130 nm span maximises brightness and colour fidelity for RGB and multispectral systems.
Built-in NIR peeks — Moderate sidebands at 700 nm and 760 nm enable simple alignment lasers or dual-band vegetation indices.
Angle-stable design — Spectrum shifts <±3 nm for AOI changes up to ±5 °, ideal for scanning optics or fast f/1.6 lenses.
Hard-oxide durability — Ion-assisted layers resist heat, moisture, solvents, and repeated lens-cloth wipes.
Rapid customisation — Centre wavelength trims, narrower skirts, or removal of NIR windows ship in as little as two weeks.
Typical applications
Fluorescence microscopy & flow cytometry — Isolate FITC/Alexa-Fluor excitations while dumping autofluorescence and IR.
Machine-vision lighting — Pair with green LEDs to boost signal-to-noise in PCB, food, or package inspection.
RGB projection engines — Channel the green primary cleanly in laser-phosphor or RGB-LED light paths.
Multispectral crop imaging — Use as a discrete green band while NIR peeks provide NDVI reference channels.
AR waveguides & HUDs — Inject bright green imagery into see-through combiners without heating the substrate.
