BH-A06 Anti-Reflective (AR) Coating (Both Side)

Dual-side broadband AR: ≈ 97 % T from 406–700 nm, per-surface R < 0.15 %—ultra-bright, glare-free windows for the toughest imaging tasks.

  • Visible Tavg: ≈ 97 % (406 – 700 nm)
  • Peak: 99 % T near 510 nm
  • Edge reach: ≥ 95 % T out to 784 nm
  • Reflectance: < 0.15 % R per surface (400 – 700 nm)
  • Durability: Meets MIL-M-13508C (adhesion, abrasion, humidity, salt-fog)
  • Formats: 5 – 450 mm, 0.5 – 6 mm on Borofloat®, D 263 T, Eagle XG

BH-A06 is KUPO’s flagship two-sided anti-reflective coating for visible-range optics. Ion-beam-sputtered on low-iron glass, it pushes total hemispherical transmission to roughly 97 % from 406 to 700 nm—peaking near 99 % at 510 nm—and stays above 95 % out to 784 nm. Both air-glass interfaces are treated, cutting average surface reflectance below 0.15 % and virtually eliminating veiling glare, ghost images, and LCD/DLP sparkle.

The dense oxide stack meets all adhesion, abrasion, humidity, and salt-fog clauses of MIL-M-13508C, making it ready for harsh field, lab, or stage duty. We coat Borofloat®, Schott D 263 T, and Eagle XG in sizes up to 450 mm × 650 mm and thicknesses from 0.5 to 6 mm. Prototype lots leave our fully automated IBS line in as little as one week, with run-to-run variation held below one percent.

Typical uses: high-SNR camera windows, AR/VR combiners, bright HUD/touch-panel cover glass, analytical cuvettes and flow cells, and anti-glare glazing for museum or architectural installs.

Description

BH-A06 is our premium two-sided broadband anti-reflective coating for visible-range optics. Deposited by ion-beam sputtering on low-iron glass, it lifts total hemispherical transmission to ≈ 97 % from 406 to 700 nm (peaking near 99 % at 510 nm), maintains ≥ 95 % out to 784 nm, and shows virtually no colour bias. Both air-glass interfaces are treated, cutting average surface reflectance below 0.15 % and delivering a clean, high-contrast view free of veiling glare or ghost images.

Key advantages

  • Ultra-low reflectance – < 0.15 % R avg per surface (400-700 nm) minimises flare in demanding imaging paths.

  • High broadband throughput – ≥ 97 % T avg across the entire visible band boosts system efficiency by 10-12 % versus uncoated windows.

  • MIL-M-13508C durability – IBS stack meets adhesion, abrasion, humidity, and salt-fog requirements of this military AR-coating standard.

  • Large-format availability – round or rectangular parts up to 450 mm with thicknesses from 0.5 to 6 mm on Borofloat®, D 263 T, and Eagle XG.

Typical applications

  • Camera & machine-vision windows – maximise signal-to-noise and dynamic range on CMOS/CCD sensors.

  • AR/VR combiners & waveguides – keep see-through brightness high while suppressing secondary reflections.

  • Touch-panel & HUD cover glass – raise display luminance or extend battery life without changing back-light power.

  • Analytical & life-science cuvettes – improve detection limits in absorbance, fluorescence, and flow-cytometry channels.

  • Architectural & museum glazing – render exhibits vivid under mixed lighting while reducing distracting glare.

Whether you need a handful of prototype plates or high-volume production lots, BH-A06 coatings are processed in-house on computer-controlled IBS chambers for tight run-to-run repeatability and rapid turnaround.
