Description

KUPO Optics' Black Chrome Coatings are a sophisticated solution engineered for high-precision applications where minimizing light interference is paramount. These coatings deliver exceptional performance by controlling light transmission and reflection, making them indispensable in industries where even the slightest light disruption can impact results.

With a wavelength range of 400 to 700 nm, this coating is meticulously optimized to minimize reflectance, particularly at varying angles of incidence. The maximum reflection (Rmax) for the 400-470nm wavelength range is kept below 25%, while in the 470-700nm range, it remains under 15%.

The Black Chrome Coatings are especially well-suited for applications such as integrated circuit manufacturing, LCD masking, and semiconductor wafer processing, where precise light control is essential. The coating excels at reducing glare and stray light, ensuring a highly controlled optical environment for sensitive operations.

Additionally, these coatings are built to last, meeting the stringent MIL-M-13508C standards for humidity, adhesion, and abrasion resistance, ensuring their reliability in even the most demanding industrial conditions.

This coating also boasts a Tmax (total light transmission) of less than 0.5% across the 400-700nm wavelength range at an angle of incidence (AOI) of 0°. Such remarkably low transmission and reflection levels make it the ideal choice for applications like image sensor shading, lens masking, and LCD production, where maintaining optical precision is critical.
