Description

KUPO Optics' Beam Splitters operate with high precision and consistency, offering advanced solutions for light management across diverse optical systems. These beam splitters are designed for applications ranging from laser beam splitting in scientific and communication devices to managing light paths in sophisticated optical instruments. With an angle of incidence (A.O.I) of 45°, they ensure a 50% transmission rate between 420 nm and 680 nm, with an average transmission tolerance of +/- 3%, as shown in the accompanying transmission spectrum.

Engineered with attention to detail, each beam splitter exhibits outstanding uniformity across multiple pieces and production batches, ensuring reliability in critical and repetitive tasks. An anti-reflection coating on the second surface reduces Fresnel reflection, optimizing the efficiency of light transmission and reflection. This high level of precision makes them indispensable for professional optical setups, including autocue systems in broadcasting, where presenters can maintain eye contact with the camera while reading the script.

Built to withstand challenging conditions, KUPO Optics' Beam Splitters meet MIL-M-13508C standards for humidity, adhesion, and abrasion. This durability, combined with advanced optical capabilities, ensures that the beam splitters perform consistently and last long, even in demanding environments. These characteristics make them a versatile solution across industries that require reliable, high-quality light management.

Features:

Superior consistency across pieces and batches

Uniform transmission of visible light

Customizable transmission and reflection ratios

Anti-reflection coating for improved efficiency

Applications:

Laser Interferometry: Beam splitters divide laser beams for precise measurement of distance, surface irregularities, and other properties in scientific research and metrology.

Optical Microscopy: They enable the division of light paths, allowing for the combination of multiple imaging techniques, such as fluorescence and brightfield microscopy.

Autocue Systems (Teleprompters): Beam splitters allow presenters to see a script on a transparent display while maintaining direct eye contact with the camera.

Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT): Used in medical imaging, particularly in ophthalmology, beam splitters help in directing light paths for high-resolution cross-sectional images of tissues.
