BH-A10 is KUPO Optics’ high-performance hot-mirror coating designed for applications requiring precise heat management and visible light transmission. Its advanced dielectric stack efficiently separates the electromagnetic spectrum, transmitting visible light with high fidelity while reflecting a broad band of near-infrared (NIR) energy. The result is a thermally protected optical path with a crystal-clear, color-true view.

At a 45° angle of incidence, the coating demonstrates excellent visible transmission, with reflectance staying below 15% across the 400–750 nm range. The curve then shifts dramatically, rocketing past 90% reflectance at 820 nm and stay > 95% throughout the critical 850–1000 nm NIR band. This provides powerful heat reflection exactly where it’s needed most, while keeping the visible spectrum clear for imaging or observation.
